In Litchfield we met a reporter at the Ariston Cafe. This cafe has been in business since 1924 and has been in the same family. They have great food and if you are really adventurous, ask to see the dessert tray. Just remember that you have been warned. |

We got to Springfield and had to stop by the Cozy Dogs Drive Inn which is a Route 66 landmark. So when you are in Springfield, you need to stop and get a Cozy Dog. Woody stopped for a picture while doing just that. |

Woody went inside and had to check out all the stuff in the display cases that were and were not for sale. There is alot of history with the Cozy Dogs and this is evident with all the photos and other memorabilia on the walls. |

We arrived at the fairgrounds in Springfield in the afternoon and I had a chance to look around a little. This is one of the areas that is used for different shows. The white canvas canopy is quite beautiful and BIG. They had just finished the Illinois State Fair the week before, so the crews were in the process of moving dirt and getting ready for the next event. Fortunately for the car show, we did not have to park in the dirt. They had plenty of pavement. |

| The Great All-American Road Show is a family values experience. We believe that integrity, hardwork, a strong moral compass and basic self-discipline are values that have made and will keep this country great. As we travel across this great land, it is our intention to let communities and individuals enjoy the freedoms we hold dear. We encourage everyone to do all things in moderation and exhibit a general concern for the welfare of others. | ![]() |
