As we were traveling between Carterville and Carthage on old Route 66, we passed this drive-in theatre. |

This is the most photographed building in Missouri. It is the courthouse in Carthage. And looking at this picture, you can certainly see why. It is magnificent. |

In the evening, we attended a car show at Woody's Bar-B-Que in Webb City. This was their third annual show. Here we are with some of the over 75 or so cars that showed up. |

There were many different types as you can tell by the dunebuggy rail that attended. This is a family event and cars and car clubs are big here in Missouri. |

One of the reasons so many came out was because they were raffling off a very nice 1969 Firebird. We all bought tickets but we did not get it. The lucky winner was present and you could pick him out of the crowd by the smile on his face. |

We did learn why we have a rumble seat in the 32 roadster we are traveling with. Here, Woody Young, our fearless leader and the owner of the 32, is receiving the first place trophy for the best of show car. The rumble seat is for the trophy. |

Here are some of the new friends we have met. Craig and his friend, Darrel who is with Gina, Woody, Carolyn and Dave. Craig is a photographer and writer and follows much of the activity on Route 66. |

We ended a great day with a beautiful Missouri sunset. |
