We started the 15th by being invited to a pizza lunch hosted by a local car club in Corrales, NM. This is a beautiful little community northwest of Albuquerque. What a treat. First, we haven't had pizza for weeks, and second, this group of folks were really nice and welcomed us in as if we were old friends. Joyce Clements was in charge and did a great job. Here, David (seated in red) is talking with Paul McLaughlin who has written many books about many different cars. He is also an artist and photographer. He is someone who is a great source of information .

Here is Joyce standing with Ron Rymarz, another member of the club. I think Joyce was in charge because she is holding the money but I also think that Ron is probably the Treasurer because he kept writing checks for different things. Joyce told me she had a 1940 and I think she has a 1944. And she takes them out and drives them regularly.

After the pizza lunch, we were invited to go visit the J&R Vintage Auto Museum. OK, I must admit that when Joyce told me it was a local guy with a bunch of old cars, I thought to myself, be nice, try to say something nice, etc. WOW! This place was over the top! They had a 1962 Ford truck for sale I almost bought! We got to visit the shop. This is a beautiful Model A Ford coming together.

Here is a highly modified model T Ford that was run in the Great Race.

The entire museum was filled with over 50 cars that were all restored or in as used condition. Most of the cars that ran the Great Race were is such condition... just the way the looked when they were in the race.

Here is a little wider shot of the working end of the museum.

The Great All-American Road Show is a family values experience. We believe that integrity, hardwork, a strong moral compass and basic self-discipline are values that have made and will keep this country great. As we travel across this great land, it is our intention to let communities and individuals enjoy the freedoms we hold dear. We encourage everyone to do all things in moderation and exhibit a general concern for the welfare of  others.
