Monday, we started the day at SoCal, a company that builds 1932 Ford roadsters for customers. We toured the facility and was able to see how they made such beautiful cars. Tons of equipment and many trained personnel were hard at work turning out some of the most beautiful street rods available. This car is not exactly what they do but is an example of massive horsepower. This car probably develops in excess of 2500 horsepower. |

This is David. He is standing beside a car he is creating basically by hand. He started with an original body but the frame is handmade and of excellent workmanship. |

We then went to the NHRA museum. Wow! If you were a kid who loved cars and grew up in the last 40 or so years, this place is mecca. All the greats and even some not-so-greats are here. This is me in the entrance way. |

This place is packed with every type of race car you can imagine. Roadsters, dragsters, even jelopies. |

Frank and Cheryl were amongst the group who joined us at both SoCal and at the NHRA museum. Great folks and enjoyed meeting them. Here they are with Dave, part of the team. |
